also, does that mean the progress i made up into that point is uh, gone. with no way of getting it back, or will there be a way to save myself, like an item in the bag that'll warp me back to the castle or something. cuz that might fix it. not sure tho. if not, unfortunately I had forgotten to save for a long while until that point, so that would be unfortunate, but I'd be able to preserve.
